Welcome

Haven Christian Academy is an evangelical, Bible-based, Christ-centered, college preparatory, private Christian school. As a vital ministry of Haven Baptist Church, Haven Christian Academy has been serving the East Polk County communities with excellence in education since 1977 by providing a supportive, challenging, and loving learning environment.

HCA offers a high quality education with spiritual emphasis (biblical integration),  strong athletics, reasonable tuition, and a track record of success in preparing young people for life (HCA alumni). Haven has approximately two hundred students ranging in age from our three year old preschoolers to our high school seniors. The school is a member of the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).                                    Striving for Perfection...

                             ...Settling for Excellence.

Imagine a school where...

* Christ is King.
* Being new still feels like family.
* Loving teachers and students lift your child up and pray for her every day.
* Students embrace each other with love, respect, and encouragement.
* Your child, one of God's special and unique creations, will be loved, appreciated,
and encouraged to be the one person that God created him to be.
* Older students act as positive mentors for younger students.
* The love of Christ inspires teachers, students, and parents to serve one another
with hearts that are true to His call.
* Grace is given generously without sacrificing high standards.
* Students are developed as whole persons through numerous and excellent
   extracurricular opportunities.
* Your child may freely and openly worship the living God.
* The curriculum is submitted to Scripture and integrated by Jesus Christ, and
classrooms are characterized by both grace and truth.
* Students learn to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
* Students are taught to think independently as they study and develop their
minds for a lifetime of learning through a Biblical worldview.
* Teachers gladly invite you as a parent to observe and participate in your child's
   classroom and school activities.
* Bible is not just another class...it is woven into every subject.
* Classes are small enough for your child to receive the attention he needs.
